Wanted some authentic Salvadoran food and a friend recommended this spot. Ordered some of their yuca con chicharrón, plátanos plate and of course several pupusas. All of the dishes were good portions and very reasonably priced. Evening tasted great EXCEPT the pupusa de queso con loroco. Really didn't taste like cheese, not sure what happened. Overall, I'd come back for some good food and great service!

This is my favorite place for pupusas, the only one I truly trust for the quality of my home town favorite dish!!! My husband enjoys their Mariscada soup, is very creamy and full of delicious seafood.

The food was quite delicious and for the price you can't beat it. I got some Chicharrón y Queso pupusas and they weren't bad. Definitely not the best I've had but the low price made it worth it. I also got the fried yuca with chicharrón and Ymir was delicious. Honestly such a bargain for price. I'd definitely recommend it for a good meal on a budget.

When ordering tacos from a nearby taqueria, we were not impressed with their sides, so we found ourselves placing a take-out order from Dona Azucena to complete our meal Between the dirt-cheap prices and expansive menu, it was so hard to not over order. We settled on yuca y chicharron, a few pupusas, and fried plantains. The pupusas were delicious! Not too soggy, not too greasy, stuffed packed with ingredients. The loroco had a great taste, with a nice fresh quality. The side slaw was delicious, twangy with spice, and a yummy red sauce. The yuca y chicharrons platter was very large (could easily feed two). They know how to make chicarrons! Crispy, not too fatty, juicy meat. The yuca was cut into nice large chunks, crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside, with the slaw all over for a flavor pop. We would definitely order out from here again!
